Awesome Games Done Quick charity event in full swing

Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ) began yesterday, which will see a number of gamers, YouTubers and streamers speedrunning games on Twitch.

Hosted by Games Done Quick, AGDQ is a bi-annual charity gaming marathon. Volunteers play through various titles as fast as they can, or compete to see who can finish a game first. The event is streamed live online, non-stop, and all donations go directly to the charity. The team hosts one event in winter, and one in summer.

The annual event brings together top speedrunners from around the world for one week of fast-paced gaming madness, in the hopes of raising millions for charity.

AGDQ has been running since 2011, and has raised over $6.6m for charity so far.

The line-up includes a host of gaming stars, including GassyMexican, Kungfufruitcup, Edobean and BubblesDelFeugo

The livestreams can be found on the Games Done Quick Twitch channel, and a full schedule of the week is available on their website.
