Influencer marketing agency Obviously opens Paris office

New York-headquartered influencer-marketing agency Obviously is setting up shop in Europe, via a new office in Paris.

Former RadiumOne executive Caroline Duret (pictured) will head the new office as group director, with MediaPost reporting that the office will focus on fashion and beauty; entertainment; food and beverage; and technology campaigns.

CEO Mae Karwowski said that Obviously’s expansion aims to attract clients who want their influencer campaigns to run globally, rather than merely with regional partners.

“The agencies that can help brands accomplish nuanced business objectives globally will have a leg up on the competition,” she said.

Obviously has become one of the most prominent influencer-marketing agencies, having worked for clients including Google, Heineken, Coca-Cola, the BBC, Dior, Mercedes-Benz and Fujifilm.

The company claims to have more than 350,000 influencers in its network, with its campaigns averaging 100 participating influencers and 10 days in length.
