Social Chain acquires digital influencer agency Glow Artists

In another display of influential firms joining forces, Manchester creative solutions company The Social Chain Group has bought Glow Artists, a side arm of international talent agency Glow Media Group.

Glow manages and represents a number of influencers, ranging from YouTubers and actors, to Instagram stars and bloggers. It also manages influencer events and exhibitions.

The agency boasts the likes of Jamie Cottrell, Barry Lewis and Lucy Moon on it's talent list, and has worked with big names such as McDonalds, O2, Coca Cola and Disney.

Social Chain hopes to strengthen and support Glow's roster of talent and services.

Glow up

“As Glow and The Social Chain Group develop ever closer, bringing the divisions together is a natural step in the exciting growth of Social Chain Group and we look forward to being part of this amazing group of entrepreneurs and companies and to offering our talent even more opportunities,” Managing director of Glow Media Group Christian Grobel said.

CEO of The Social Chain Group Steve Bartlett added: “There are many parallels between Social Chain and Glow; we both know marketing, we know social media and how to engage youth audiences,"

"Brands work with us to effectively communicate their messaging in an efficient, targeted and results driven way. As The Social Chain Group continues its expansion, it made a lot of sense for both companies to work in unison. We’re extremely excited to welcome Glow’s talent into the Social Chain family.”
