Ninja will be awarded his diamond play button during YouTube's E3 livestream

Fortnite sensation, statistical anomaly and all round good egg Tyler 'Ninja' Blevins will be awarded his diamond play button during E3.

The diamond play button is given when a YouTuber surpasses 10 million subscribers, which Blevins has managed to do in less than six months.

He now belongs to an elite group of creators; there's only 20 active gaming YouTubers over the 10 mil mark.

YouTube at E3

YouTube will be livestreaming for eight hours across June 10 and 11 on E3's YouTube channel.

The broadcast will feature the likes of some of it's biggest personalities, including Ninja himself, Ali-A, Boogie2988, iJustine, MatPat, Vikkstar and AngryJoe. The event will be hosted by Geoff Keighley.

Ninja will co-host the June 10 stream alongside Keighley, and will be presented with his play button during it. Ninja will also of course be playing Fortnite live on stream, with DJ/producer Marshmello.
