Broadcasters and creators can use the platform to discover new games for creating content, and will now be able to request access to games as well as connecting directly with developers.
Publishers and devs can utilise the automated process which will give creators access to a game as they request it. Lightstream has created an authorisation system for applications, securing confidence that creators are legitimate.
“Key delivery allows a publisher or studio to focus on their game while running a large influencer campaign,” said Lightstream CEO Stu Grubbs.
“Broadcasters are able to request instant access to games that they are genuinely interested in, studios and publishers get all the data they need, and we handle the rest.”
Within the analytics platform, all statistics are available for all applications, allowing publishers to gauge engagement and audience size.
The platform also manages all game keys to prevent duplication, as well as instantly approving requests made by creators meeting an eligibility requirement as set by the publisher. When keys are sent the platform will generate a report based on content and views to track engagement.
Arsenal.gg's streamer analysis can incorporate broadcast details with breakdowns by game, usual time and day of broadcasts, growth and viewership metrics, active days per week, and averages of stream hours by day, minutes watched and viewers per broadcast.
Qualified indie developers are able to create a publisher key delivery campaign for free. Lightstream states that this will help accelerate the growth of smaller studios by improving discoverability by influencers and their audience.
