More Creator Shows are coming to Snapchat, featuring celebrities such as Serena Williams, Kevin Hart, Arnold Schwarzenegger, alongside online creators such as Emma Chamberlain, Loren Grey and Rickey Thompson.
The three to five-minute shows will have eight to 10 episodes a season and will be available to watch on the Discovery page within the app.
Snap has said that the content will be first-person vertical videos around the themes beauty, fitness, dance, and fashion amongst others.
The vertical media platform is also offering updates for officiated accounts, with a highlights collection similar to competitor Instagram, with both allowing a curation of video and photo content for profiles
The Creator Show launch follows the format addition of Snapchat Shows, which Snap says tripled audience retention in the app every day for the last year.
Snap is further diversifying its content by leaning into the gaming space. Game developer Zynga released a battle royale game in June 2019 as part of Snap Games.
“Snap Games is all about exploring new ways for friends to play together and Tiny Royale is the perfect example of that," head of Snap Games Will Wu said.
