On October 8th, the photo-sharing app launched its own dark mode, following on from the likes of Facebook and Twitter, as well as other apps, including Discord and Twitch. Instagram has also quietly removed the 'following' tab.

LA-based video-clip sharing platform Medal.tv has expanded into mobile games by acquiring of San Francisco outfit Megacool.co.

Logitech splashes out $89m for Streamlabs

PC giant Logitech has acquired livestream company Streamlabs. The hardware firm paid a cool $89m for the media company, with an addition $29m payout on the way if Streamlabs hits the targets set out for it by its new corporate overlords.
