Mexican start-up Flyr raises $6m to bring TV standard adverts to Apple services

A rising advert production app has raised $6m to fund the delivery of television grade ads to Apple devices.

Flyr is an app that enables users to create high quality video ads via a handheld device.The resource has over 10,000 customisable templates available, as well as a roster of editing tools that allows users to make glossy adverts without having to use desktop editing software.

Video production requires a skillset and can be time consuming, but Flyr hopes to make the process quicker and easier.

The company is support by Renderfam, a company that employs graphic designers to create TV-standard templates that can be altered to fit a specific brand or product. 

Flyr said in a statement that it is attempting to “empower mom & pop businesses and individual entrepreneurs to share social-TV content with the same quality otherwise limited for premium brands".
