A talk show about Fortnite is parachuting on to Twitch

As the reigning king of media, Fortnite has inspired another publisher to take a leap from the battle bus.

Science and culture media outlet Inverse has launched a Fortnite focused talk show on Twitch. The show, titled 'Squad Up' will discuss all things Fortnite.

Squad Up will be headed by Inverse's video and audio head Weston Green, and video producer Justin Dodd.

However, the show won't just focus on the online champs of Fortnite or whatever Ninja is doing at any given time. Squad Up will be much more community orientated.

“It’s really fun watching those gamers, but it’s a half percent of people,” Green said.

“It’s fun when you’re squadding up - playing with people around the world. We thought, ‘How do we turn this into a show?’”

The show will run live on Twitch twice a week for two hours at a time. Each episode will also be edited down in to 15 minute chunks for Inverse's YouTube channel.
