As Twitch continues to rise, so does the revenue and income of its top-end creators.
A study from OnlineGambling.ca has unveiled the highest earners on Twitch based on how much they earn per video. This study just covers earnings from videos and not additional earnings from Twitch subscriptions or community donations.
Speaking to OnlineGambling about the study, Twitch Partner Dinky Dana said: "it is definitely possible to make a full-time living on Twitch. Not only do players get subscription payments and donations, many of the biggest streamers now get endorsement deals to promote products or services,"
"This is very similar to companies purchasing advertising space for product placement in TV or brand promotion in the biggest sports arenas. Advertisers will always go to where the most attention is, and Twitch is becoming one of those places fast at rates far cheaper than traditional advertising."
Twitch's Michael 'Shroud' Grzesiek is at the top of the list, bringing in an estimated $26,887 per video. Grzesiek has over 7 million followers on Twitch, making him one of the biggest streamers on the platform.
Next on the list is Raúl Álvarez Genes, known as Auronplay, who reportedly makes $287,164 per video. While that is much higher than Grzesiek's income per video, his channel only has 52 videos next to Grzesiek's 1239. Saqib 'LIRIK' Zahid takes third place, but despite a huge following of over 2.6 million followers, OnlineGambling estimates that he only makes around $3637 per video.
