Facebook set to dip its toes into the influencer marketing ocean

Social media giant Facebook is reportedly working on an influencer marketing platform.

According to All Facebook, the company is building a resource for influencers that will exist inside Facebook's creator network.

The product is reportedly dubbed "Branded Content Marketing" and will be targeted towards brands on the hunt for relevant influencers and creators. The addition will also presumably provide a host of new tools to influencers uploading videos and content to Facebook.

The platform looks to consist of three parts right now: creator search, saved list and suggested creators.

We'd presume the first thing allows clients to look for suitable influencers, the second option allows them to save them somewhere, and the third will show suggestions based on the things users have looked for.

The creator search screenshot appears to order results by audience match, reach, engagement, followers and video views. It also gives links to an influencers portfolio.

Screenshots of the platform's progress can be seen over on AllFacebook
