Our guide to Influencer Insight at Pocket Gamer Connects London 2019

Pocket Gamer Connects London kicks off on Monday, and we figured that you'd be sorted and ready to go.

If not, then what are you waiting for? Tickets are here.

PG Connects' Influencer Insight track features a handful of great minds in the industry, from marketers and managers to the influencers themselves. Brimming with insight and success stories, these folk are here and raring to share their knowledge.

The track takes place on Tuesday 22nd January, kicking off at 4:20pm and rounding up around 6pm. We'll be finished in good time so you can get off to the Mobile Games Awards, or one of the many parties.

Influencer insight

Marketing redefined: the brave new influencer landscape is scrutinised by some of the key players in this sector in this return to the PGC London track roster.

The market is still very much in its ‘wild west’ era and there’s a wide range of different approaches, costs, and structures to understand and precious few ‘standards’ or clear rules to follow. That’s why we’ve got the right people lined up to show us the way.

The first speaker of the track will be Dmitry Liapin from Zorka.Mobi. Dmitry will be taking us through an influencer marketing case study for Android-based sci-fi shooter Infinity Ops. Liapin will run through the campaign process, what went right, and the lessons learned, giving a hands-on example of how to run a successful project with influencers. His talk kicks off at 4:20pm.

Next, Matchmade CMO Heini Vesander will be taking to the stage for '8 mistakes made in influencer marketing'. During this, Vesander will talk through the key errors made by agencies and influencers and how to avoid them. Her talk begins at 4:40pm.

Fanbytes CEO Timothy Arnoo will hit the stage at 5pm. Fanbytes is a marketing company with a specific focus on utilising Snapchat and Gen Z. Arnoo will be talking through how to appeal to this new generation of consumers and get the best results from campaigns.

Last but not least, the track will close with a roundtable session on how to get the best out of influencers. The Yogscast CEO Mark 'Turps' Turpin and chief revenue officer Rich Keith will be taking a seat on the panel, alongside Game Influencer senior PR and marketing manager Benedikt Seitz. The panel will be hosted by InfluencerUpdate.biz editor Danielle Partis.

What else is on?

Influencer Insight is just one of the many incredible tracks that are on offer at PGC London. We also have the original PG Connects, XR Connects, PC Connects and the brand new Blockchain Connects. All four featuring tons of insight and advice from leaders within their respective fields.
