On Monday, Snap Inc announced that Snap’s chief accounting officer will become interim CFO for the company.

Lara Sweet will be taking over the job after previous CFO Tim Stone leaves on February 5th. Stone's decision to leave the company came earlier in the month. 

The company also announced that it is searching for a new candidate to become a permanent CFO for Snap Inc.

Snap decisions

Snap has seen a number of executive departures from the company in the last year. This followed shortly a number of changes were made to the design of Snapchat, which received backlash from users. Shares for Snap Inc also fell 9 per cent the day that Stone announced his resignation from the company.

Sweet will be reporting to CEO Evan Spiegel. No other arrangements for the change have been made at this time.
