GTA: Online players can earn in-game currency by watching Facebook broadcasts

Facebook is now providing an incentive to watch broadcasts.

From July 27th, GTA: Online players can earn in-game money from watching certain broadcasts on the platform. All you have to do is connect your Facebook account to Rockstar's Social Club account.

The perk is to promote the release of GTA: Online's 'After Hours' update, which features a ton of night-life focused updates for the open world title.

Certain streamers will also be offering other kinds of in-game rewards in collaboration with Rockstar. The broadcasts and times can be seen over on Rockstar's official Facebook page.

Facebook continues to make moves in to the gaming space. FB.gg is providing users with a new game-centric destination that will compile game content in a similar way to other streaming platforms. It also keeps gaming content separate from other Facebook posts.

The platform also recently launched its Level Up program, an initiative designed to help streamers on Facebook up their game.
