Inked Brands has raised a cool $6 million to support its new influencer commerce efforts.

A round of Series A funding secured investment from media-production company Archer Gray, and 20th Century Fox president of consumer products Jim Fielding. Archer Gray's founder Amy Nauiokas and Fielding himself have joined Inked's board of directors.

Inked Brands allows influencers to expand their commerce strategy with a number of tools and services, marketing, customer service, web and project development. YouTubers Shawn Johnson and Meghan Rienks are both Inked clients.

The company's founder and CEO April Foster spoke regarding the investment, saying that "Archer Gray intrinsically understands the great potential that lies at the intersection of content and commerce.”

Nauiokas added: "much like Inked Brands, Archer Gray is committed to supporting content creators which makes our relationship a natural fit. Additionally, I am passionate about promoting female-led businesses and look forward to advising April on her company’s growth and exciting future.”
