Jimmy Fallon is one of the most popular late-night show hosts with “The Tonight Show”.

But his popularity, like other celebrities as of late, is stretching beyond the boom tube and onto the digital realm with places such as YouTube.

The Tonight Show channel has broken pass 20 million subscribers, the first late night show in history to break through the 20 million mark.

Big milestones

To celebrate the occasion, Jimmy had a segment counting down to the big milestone and then proceeded to dance with a giant teddy bear.

The clip leading up to the milestone was fun, with the live sub count going up and down until it soared past 20 million live on air. How far the channel will go beyond this in the nearby future is anybody’s guess.

However, Fallon's sub count isn't the only successful aspect of the channel. In 2018, the channel generated 2.6 billion views and over 43.8 billion engagements, across 1,872 videos.
