YouTube has unveiled a new editing tool for marketers to optimise content for mobile devices and viewers.
The new tool is being called Bumper Machine. It uses machine learning to identify interesting parts of longer videos that can be pushed into shorter videos.
YouTube VP of Product Management Vishal Sharma, talks about the new tools in a recent blog post.
“Producing a six-second video requires additional time and resources that not every team has," Sharma said.
"If you don’t have a longer video to use with Bumper Machine, you can work with one of our video production partners listed on YouTube.com/Ads to help you create videos from scratch or edit existing assets, with no minimum spend requirements.”
This announcement comes the time after YouTube implemented updates to its policies on how it works with third-party tech companies when serving ads.
The company is also expected to showcase other updates for YouTube’s advertising products.
