Druid Gaming announces inaugural StreamCon event

Nottingham-based startup Druid Gaming has unveiled StreamCon, a two-day streaming and gaming convention.

The event takes place on the 10th - 11th August at Metronome in Nottingham and will offer gaming tournaments, competitions, meet and greets and other entertainment across the two days. Attendees will have the opportunity to mingle with other content creators throughout the weekend.

StreamCon will also have several guest speakers to chat about the ins and outs of livestreaming, including YouTube streamer Sunbookishgames, Kyle Cherry, Director of E-sports at Confetti College, and Filip Nuyens & Tyrone Burleigh, PhD Students at NTU and members of the International Gaming Research Unit.

“Nottingham will put on a great welcome for our gaming visitors in August. The city is at the heart of the UK gaming industry and has also developed a strong reputation for innovation in the tech and creative industries," said Tom Burrows at Druid Gaming.

"We want to show the world what we have here and make this into an annual International streaming convention.”

Tickets are available on StreamCon's website
