Top 10 streamed games of the week: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare racks up 16 million hours watched in launch week

InfluencerUpdate.biz has teamed up with esports and streaming analytics firm Stream Hatchet to bring you weekly charts of the most popular games in the streaming space.

This chart documents the most-watched games by hours across Twitch, YouTube Gaming, Mixer and Facebook.

Each week we'll be documenting the top ten most-watched titles across all the major streaming platforms so you can see which games are thriving among content creators and which titles are waning in popularity. We also have a chart documenting the week's biggest content creators.

This chart covers the week commencing October 21st.

Most-watched games

League of Legends enjoys another week on top, despite the 20.3 per cent decrease in hours watched over the last week. Riot's MOBA still racked up over 40 million hours watched, and it looks set to stay well above the rest for a few more weeks.

Fortnite is back in second place, but a 48.8 per cent drop in views sees hours watched drop to 24.3 million. The game's blackout to make way for season 2 brought viewers back in droves but the battle royale has since leveled out.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a new entry in third with 16.3 million hours watched. The reboot of CoD's classic sub-series launched last Friday and managed to break into the top 3 after just two days.

PUBG Mobile takes fourth place and sees a 3.1 per cent rise in views, amassing over 14.4 million hours watched in the last week.

Grand Theft Auto V is going strong in fifth place with 13.6 million hours watched last week, but its followed closely by Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, which racked up over 13.2 million hours. GTA V saw a decline in views while CS: GO saw a rise, so the two could swap places next week.

Minecraft drops to seventh despite a 4.2 per cent increase in views. Dota 2 re-enters the chart in eighth following a 53.3 per cent jump in views - amassing over 10.9 million hours watched last week.

Mobile title Garena Free Fire drops two places to ninth following a 16.7 per cent decrease in hours watched, and World of Warcraft closes the chart with 6.7 hours watched in the last week.
