Billion Dollar Boy launches influencer-powered production company

Influencer marketing platform Billion Dollar Boy has launched a creator-powered platform to combat production woes during the current Coronavirus pandemic.

The platform, dubbed BDB TV, gives advertisers access to the skills of BDB's influencer roster in order to create new adverts and content.

The current COVID-19 pandemic paired with the UK's lockdown procedure has made it difficult for companies to continue creating adverts. However, TV consumption has shot up by 44 per cent according to the Global Web Index.

“After discussions with colleagues in the industry it is clear that many traditional creative agencies and clients are struggling to create new, relevant and appropriate content during the lockdown," said Billion Dollar Boy founder and CEO Edward East.

"Influencer content is high quality, cost-effective, quick to produce and relevant now. BDB TV works with our network of influencers to supply TV ads to our brand clients so they can effectively fill their airtime.”
