Takumi announces new company CEO and CRO

Instagram marketing service Takumi has revealed the addition of two new senior members to the company.

As of April 3rd, Adam Williams will be taking on the role of CEO of Takumi, while Cecile Douillard will become the company’s new chief revenue officer.

Takumi is a company that works together with global brands to create and deliver campaigns with some of the best influencers on Instagram.

Moving on up

“I joined Takumi during a period of huge growth for the company. It’s been a pleasure working with such a dynamic team and our influencer partners to build on this, and it’s an honour to lead the next phase of development," Williams said via a statement.

"The influencer marketing industry is also growing rapidly as influencer marketing features more and more prominently among brands’ overall media mix. We’ve evolved into a fully-managed influencer marketing service; our clients are choosing to stay with us and commit to longer campaigns, while many others are entering the fold for the first time.

It’s an interesting time for the industry and Takumi will continue to drive its development through smart anti-fraud technology and championing productive relationships between brands and Instagram creators.”

Douillard also added: “Influencer marketing is a vibrant, new media vertical and I’m excited to be a part of it. Helping businesses achieve their true potential is a passion of mine, and I can’t wait to put my expertise towards enhancing Takumi’s existing revenue streams and developing new ones.”

Williams has more than 18 years of media experience, including a stint as Managing Director of Spotify UK. Douillard also has 18 years of experience working in digital advertising, as well as 14 years experience in sales management with companies like IPONWEB, proCec, Acceleration, and Adslot.
