Horizon Media teams up with Tempo to further develop mobile-app based monetisation for influencers

Data and marketing resource Horizon Media has joined forces with Tempo - a platform that creates custom apps for fitness influencers.

Tempo launched in 2017 as a platform to assist creators with designing, distributing and marketing their content.

The two brands hope to release a mobile app that will expand Tempo's reach among influencers, as well as aiming to streamline distribution and monetisation for the platform.

Tempo also recently recieved a £1m cash injection from Hambro Perks, a company that frequently invests in rapid growing start-ups.

Up the Tempo

“I’m pleased to announce that we’ve landed another unique client opportunity in working alongside Tempo,” Horizon's chief digital officer Donnie Williams said. “We believe in the combination of the technology and leadership of Tempo as well as our expertise within the influencer space.

"We think this type of marketing and business partnership will serve as a blueprint for future partnerships between clients and agencies.

Co-founder of Tempo Jeff Herbst added: “Tempo enables influencers and brands to launch, distribute, and profitably scale mobile apps which their audiences love, without any upfront investments in technology or infrastructure.

“We are delighted to partner with Horizon as they will allow us to bring our platform to a greater number of influencers and brands so that creators can establish new and sustainable monetization streams.”
