AI tech firm Influential closes series B funding round on $12m

US based social intelligence platform influential has secured a $12m investment after a round of Series B funding.

Influential's total capital raised since its launch in 2013 now sits at a cool $26.5 million. The company hopes to use the funding to introduce its AI SaaS platform to the market.

The funding round was led by Capital Zed and Europlay Advisors with additional support from WME Entertainmaint, who recently partnered with Influential.

Previous investors include Paradigm Talent Agency, ROAR, Tech Coast Angels and Activist.

A social future

"This is a watershed moment for Influential," said Ryan Detert, Founder and CEO of Influential.

"We are proud of the support from our amazing investors, allowing us to continue developing technologies that are trusted by the biggest brands in the world, to help make better decisions to identify, engage, and convert their audiences into consumers."

Influential launched their A.I. tech platform back in March. It tracks audience demographic data, contextual relevance, personality insights, and other key performance metrics to provide a Brand Match Score. This score allows brands and companies to find and recruit the best influencers available.
