Marketing and data analytics outfit LaunchMetrics has raised a huge $50m to further fuel its global expansion.
French bank BPIfrance led the round of investment, with financial backing from Cipio Partners, Seventure and Famillie C (Clarins Family).
LaunchMetrics' platform helps brands in various sectors find and hire relevant influencers. It also lets clients and marketers monitor their online footprint. This latest round of funding will primarily go towards providing these tools to luxury brands.
Million dollar metrics
“It really highlights the contribution we have been able to bring to our customers and the industry to date,” said Launchmetrics CEO Michael Jais, in a statement.
LaunchMetrics is the product of a merger between two startups - influencer marketing firm Paris' Augere and tech-based fashion outfit New York Fashion GPS. The two companies raised $35m and $4m in venture capital respectively before coming together to form Launch Metrics in 2016.
The company is based in New York but hopes to power its expansion into uncharted territories, including Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
