The chart also shows what games they play the most. Check out our chart covering the top ten most watched games of the week here.

We'll also document the top ten rising channels of the week. These are the creators that are rising fastest on their respective platforms.

This chart covers the week commencing December 10th to December 16th.

Most watched channels

The Yogscast Twitch channel falls to second place after a 25 per cent drop but still remains popular as the company's charity Jingle Jam event rolls on.

Fortnite Twitch streamer NICKMERCS takes third place this week after a 47 per cent increase in views, closely followed by Garena Lien Quan Mobile. This channel focuses on Arena of Valor and it's viewer numbers grew by 82.7 per cent last week.

A new entry at number five this week is Twitch channel ZeRo. A 54.5 per cent increase brought in over 1.4 million hours watched for the channel last week. Shroud is in sixth place after a 33 per cent decrease in views. It looks like Shroud's numbers dropped after he switched his main title from PUBG to Rainbow Six: Siege.

Twitch broadcaster summit1g is in seventh this week after a 26.5 per cent increase in views last week. The streamer frequently plays FPS titles but has recently taken to showcasing Sea of Thieves gameplay.

YouTube channel Garena RoV Thailand takes eighth place with an impressive 105 per cent increase in hours watched. The channel provides coverage on Arena of  Valor.

Trending channels by followers

Ninja is also leading the trending by followers chart this week. A tiny 0.6 per cent incease in followers equates to over 75,000 new faces for the Fortnite streamer.

YouTube channel Dynamo Gaming moves up to second place from eighth after a 9.25 per cent increase in followers.

New entries also include Twitch streamer ZeRo, who made an appearance on the previous chart after a successful week with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and ArQuel, a Polish League of Legends Twitch streamer.

Trending channels by views

All but one of the trending by views chart entries this week are YouTube channels. The only Twitch channel to appear is Ninja's at number five.

The Angry Birds official YouTube channel leads the views chart after racking up over six million in a week. It's not entirely clear what caused that, but the channel has been live streaming Angry Birds content 24/7 since December 12th, which could equate to consistent views.

Other entries include Garena Lien Quan Mobile - which was seen on the trending channels chart - alongside regulars such as Diana Naikova, YouTuber The Grefg and PUBGTV.
