Jack Black's YouTube channel grew from zero to a million subscribers in just one week

In case you missed it, actor and musician Jack Black launched a YouTube channel over the holidays. 

Black's channel is titled 'Jablinksi Games' and it promises to be a combination of 'games, food and life'.

The channel's first offering has racked up over 7.4 million views since December 21st. The video is 28 seconds of Black introducing himself to his new subscribers.

Huge growth

Jablinski Games was created on December 21st. By Boxing Day, Black's channel had racked up 393k subscribers. On December 28th, the channel hit the one million subscriber milestone, making it one of the fastest growing YouTube channels in history. 

"It's gonna be bigger than Ninja, it's gonna be bigger than PewDiePie," Black announces whilst parked in one of Kjellberg's signature gaming chairs. We can expect to see a new video from Black every Friday.

As of today, Jablinski Games has amassed almost 2.5 million subscribers. While Black is yet to release any actual gaming content, his audience seems more than ready for it.

The channel's second video is Black commenting on his one million subs milestone.
