Social media agency Social Chain has launched a new resource dedicated to creating brand -focused podcast.
The agency is named Cast Chain and will offer help in reaching a large audience interested in podcasts across YouTube and other platforms.
The Cast Chain agency will handle everything from strategy, production and talent sourcing, as well as promotion and social marketing of podcasts. Data analytics and brand uplift will also be offered to clients who partake in the service.

“A podcast is a brand’s ownable, scalable, intimate stage outside of the Facebook powerhouse," said Social Chain head of audio Charlie Perry.
"With podcasting, the audience doesn’t exist in one place in the hands of just one private company, the podcast can live across multiple platforms at the same time. We identified many reasons as to why brands needed to be in this space and we wanted to offer a solution.”

Cast Chain has already started to see success with a few projects it’s taken on, including bringing some podcasts to the number one on digital charts. This includes shows like ‘Behind Closed Doors’, a podcast from online fashion retailer Pretty Little Thing. The first episode of the podcast reached the top of the charts in just 24 hours after its initial release.
