Top 10 most watched and trending channels of the week has teamed up with esports and streaming analytics firm Stream Hatchet to bring you weekly charts of the most popular games and creators in the streaming space.

This chart documents the most watched channels by hours across Twitch, YouTube Gaming, Mixer and Facebook.

Each week we'll be documenting the top ten most watched channels across all the major streaming platforms, so you can see which creators are growing and which ones are in decline. The chart also shows what games they play the most. Check out our chart covering the top ten most watched games of the week here.

Most watched channels

Twitch's PlayHearthstone is a new entry to the chart this week and it has debuted at number one. The channel racked up over 3 million hours watched in the last week with coverage of the Hearthstone Championship Tour finals.

Hearthstone's popularity surge sees the OverwatchLeague channel knocked down to second place. Views for the OWL's Twitch channel dropped by 22.3 per cent. 

Tfue's Twitch channel is in third place. Despite a 19.6 per cent drop in views, the Fortnite star managed to amass over 2.2 million hours watched and remain in the top 3 for another week. 

Dota2mc_ru is in fourth place, a new entry to the chart after racking up 1.7 million hours watched in the last week. OGADota2PIT is a similar Dota-focused channel and is also a new entry in fifth. 

Twitch variety streamer sodapoppin takes sixth, re-entering the chart after a huge 101.5 per cent increase in views last week. The streamer has been focusing on Risk of Rain 2. 

Summit1g is in seventh place, falling from third after a 45.2 per cent decrease in views. He's been playing zombie survival game Miscreated recently which seems to have impacted the streamer's views.

ESL_CSGO on Twitch falls to eighth place after a 33.4 per cent decrease in hours watched. This channel is closely followed by Ninja in ninth, who has fallen all the way from second place after a 57 per cent decrease in hours watched. Lord_Kebun is closing this week's top ten after a 40.2 per cent increase in hours watched.
