Joocd is a new online marketplace that is aiming to connect brands and influencers together, specifically LGBTQI+ influencers online.
The marketplace, whose acronym stands for Just Out Of Curiosity Digital, aims to match different campaigns and companies to relevant LGBTQI+ influencers.
The hope is that this will urge companies to engage with the LGBTQ+ community to create more opportunities. This could lead to more authentic endorsements and great eye-catching content that will resonate within the community.
“We wanted to create a marketplace with which brands could strategically partner with the LGBTQI+ community at scale,” said Joocd co-founder Nigel Hickey.
“When done right, we know influencer marketing is highly effective. Getting it right means brands, agencies and influencers need transparency in authentication and audience insights to forge the right partnership.”
The founders also stated that Joocd would donate 10 percent of all profits to LGBTQI+ projects and initiatives chosen by the community.
The platform is connected to all major social media so brands can easily be matched up with influencers that would be perfect for their campaigns and other related events and promotions.
