For the last three years, Ninja and Fortnite have been synonymous with each other. Now, Tyler Blevins has his own skin inside the game.
“It happened. It’s official, we finally got a Ninja skin. In the game. In Fortnite. We did it,” he said during a stream yesterday morning.
The new skin uses Blevins' likeness and features his logo, trademark blue hair and headband. It'll be available for Fortnite players to purchase between the 16th and 19th January, though the price is unknown until it hits the store.
“I’m just really excited about this, I’m excited to share this with you guys,” Blevins continued. “If you put the time in, the effort in, anything is possible. That’s just facts.”
Icons series
Blevins' skin is the first in a new 'Icons' series. Epic Games has confirmed that fellow gaming creators TheGrefg and Loserfruit will both see an Icons collaboration. Other well-known personalities across gaming, music, film, and fashion will appear in the series, but Epic is yet to confirm a full list.
