Social video app TikTok has unveiled donation stickers, a tool that lets users donate to charity with ease.
Creators can embed the stickers into their videos for viewers to click on. From there, they will be taken to a window where they can easily make a donation without navigating out of the app.
The donations are enabled by Tiltify, aa trusted charity fundraising tool. Only TikTok users over the age of 18 can donate.
TikTok has also teamed up with a handful of charities to coincide with the launch of the feature. These include British Red Cross and Help Musicians. More organisations will be able to utilise the feature in the coming months.
The platform will also be matching any donations made to those two charities from now until May 27th.
