While Friday night for some means cosying up with a large cuppa and smashing Eastenders, millions of people are now opting for another type of entertainment.
Friday Fortnite is a weekly event hosted by YouTuber Keemstar, in which he pits popular Fortnite streamers and players against each other for a bit of fun.
Instead of fighting each other, four creators are put in the same squad and are split in to two teams, and whichever team racks up the most kills in a match wins.
Only the best
The event is by invite-only, and so only the cream of the Fortnite crop have graced it so far.
Friday Fortnite is a hit, and Keemstar revealed that 8.8 million people tuned in to watch it over week four, with Ninja pulling almost two million of that number in himself.
#FridayFortnite week 4 pulled in at least 8.8 million unique viewers.

8.8 million is a lot of people. The most viewed show last week in the UK was in fact Friday's Eastenders, and that only brought in 6.2 million viewers. While the two things are fundementally quite different, the numbers can help those unfamiliar get a sense of just how much of an impact Fortnite has made.
Now if we could get a Fortnite/Eastenders crossover, that'd be great.
