YouTube and Eventbrite partner up to drive ticket sales

YouTube has teamed up with live events platform Eventbrite in a bid to push ticket sales for shows.

The partnership makes it easier for fans to look at show dates and make purchases for artists hosting events through Eventbrite. YouTube also did a similar promotion with Ticketmaster last year.

Artists, festivals, and venues that use Eventbrite to sell tickets will now have automatic ticket listings on an artist's official channel. Fans will be able to buy tickets directly through the 'on tour' section.

“We’re proud to form partnerships that play a part in bringing artists, fans, and promoters together online, and to support connections built offline through live shows.” Eventbrite said in a press release.
