Ninja announces debut book on how to be good at games

Gaming superstar Tyler 'Ninja' Blevins has unveiled his first book.

The book is named 'Ninja: Get Good' and promises to the streamer's "ultimate guide to gaming".

It is set to release this August, and is being published by Ebury Books. Alongside it, fans can also pick up a branded notebook with stickers, prompts, and gaming tips.

“As a team we’ve been pursuing Ninja for some time and we are thrilled that in GET GOOD he has produced a hugely entertaining but incredibly practical book about the art and science of gaming," said Ebury editorial director Emma Smith.

"It is going to give players across the world exactly what they want - the inside track on how to be the next Ninja.”

Get good

Blevins is cited as the biggest gaming influencer in the world - with over 40 million followers across multiple platforms. He currently has over 14.4 million followers on Twitch and over 22 million YouTube subscribers. In 2018 he became the fastest non-music creator to grow from one to ten million subs in YouTube history.

While Blevins shot to unpredictable heights after getting involved with Fortnite, he began his gaming career in professional gaming. He started playing Halo 3 competitively in 2009, and has played numerous other titles with teams such as Cloud9, Renegades and Team Liquid. Blevins is currently signed to Lumosity Gaming.

In 2019, he was named on TIME Magazine's top 100 influential people list, alongside Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, The Pope, and Taylor Swift.
