Streaming platform Twitch has added an esports directory to its home page.
This new directory compiles esports events and tournaments from across the globe in one place, so viewers can find games and browse events easily.
With the cancellation of actual, real-life sporting events due to the coronavirus pandemic, the esports space is seeing a significant boom this year.
The tab showcases live matches, replays of past games, and it'll recommend certain events and games based on viewing history. It also has a sub-directory of all the events going on with a particular title, and a list of all that game's professional players that are live on their own channels.
It's a cool move from Twitch to put all of the competitive events into one destination, and it does wonders in solidifying the platform's presence as the place to go for all things esports.
