Top 10 streamed games of the week: Worlds 2018 sees League of Legends back on top form

InfluencerUpdate.biz has teamed up with esports and streaming analytics firm Stream Hatchet to bring you weekly charts of the most popular games in the streaming space.

This chart documents the most watched games by hours across Twitch, YouTube Gaming, Mixer and Facebook.

Each week we'll be documenting the top ten most watched titles across all the major streaming platforms, so you can see which games are thriving among content creators and which titles are waning in popularity.

This chart covers the week commencing October 2nd to October 8th.

Most watched games

As always, Fortnite is sitting comfortably in that top spot. However, the game  has experienced a 24 per cent decrease in views compared to last week.

League of Legends is back in at two, with a huge 84 per cent increase in views on last week. The League of Legends Worlds 2018 event in South Korea kicked off at the start of October which could be responsible for the surge in views.

Battle royale favourite PUBG retains third place this week, with Assassin's Creed: Odyssey entering the chart at number four after its release last week.

World of Warcraft is in fifth up from seven, and Dota 2 is in sixth. FIFA 19 drops to seventh place by 24 per cent after a successful launch week.

CS:GO has dropped down to eighth place with a 20 per cent decrease in views compared to last week. The game released a new patch at the end of last week with some interesting new features.

Hearthstone clutches ninth place with an 11.2 per cent increase in views, and Overwatch is bringing up the rear once more. As we mentioned last week, Overwatch's annual Halloween event could see streamers return to the popular shooter.
