Creator making Marvel Strike Force videos has account wiped after in-game promotional assets put him at the top of the leaderboards

An influencer who skyrocketed to the very top of Marvel Strike Force’s leaderboards with a with a roster of maxed-out characters is going to have his account wiped and his activies within the game moved to a test server.

KnightlyGaming, a YouTube content creator, was hired by FoxNext to produce video guides for Marvel Strike Force, which was released in March 2018 on iOS and Android.

In an move to assist KnightlyGaming in producing the content, the games developers gave him a selection of assets in game to help him progress quicker.

Backlash unfolded when FoxNext increased the level cap by 10 levels from 55 to 65. Several characters were seen in a video of his showing them as to be the highest level in less than two weeks time.

Knightly Gaming released an explanation to try and clear the air about the ongoing situation stating that he had a relationship with the game’s developers prior to Marvel Strike Force’s release.

Following this, the makers of the game put a statement stating that KnightlyGaming had been given extra resources to produce his guides.

Marvel Strike Force's devs took to Reddit to clarify further, stating “in order to prevent this type of issue in the future, we will be setting up a test server where anyone we work with in this fashion can log in and capture content without any impact to the live game or leaderboards."
