The annual Yogscast Jingle Jam charity event has come to a close, raising over $3.3 million.
The Jingle Jam began on December 1st 2018 in collaboration with Humble Bundle. The Humble Yogscast collection cost $35 and offered at least one game per day throughout December.
The Yogscast streamed on their main Twitch channel for a minimum of 12 hours a day throughout December, making up over 700 hours of live time throughout the event. 2018's Jingle Jam saw over 88,000 donators raise the $3.3 million.
The team fell short of last year's fundraising total - a whopping $5.2 million. However, this year's effort is still the second-largest amount the Yogs have raised since the Jingle Jam began. The tradition began as the 'Christmas Livesteams' back in 2011 and has since become a staple of the company's activities.
In total, The Yogscast has raised $14.9 million for charity over the course of the Jingle Jam streams.
Yogscast CEO Mark 'Turps' Turpin announced the news on Twitter yesterday.
