YouTube is restoring Logan Paul’s ads

Logan Paul’s YouTube channel has been given the greenlight to return to the platform’s monetisation program after only two weeks.

However, the video site has told Polygon that Paul remains ineligible for the Google Preferred ads that many of its top creators enjoy. His previously announced Red series has also not been reinstated and he will not feature on the YouTube trending tab. His 90-day probation period remains active.

YouTube added that Paul and his team have acknowledged and understood its current community guidelines.

Paul’s ad punishment came after he chose to upload a video of himself tasering dead rats while still recovering from his now infamous Suicide Forest controversy.

In other Logan Paul news, it has apparently been confirmed that he will square off against fellow YouTuber Ksi in a boxing match.

Ksi recently faced another YouTuber, Joe Weller, in the ring. The bout was watched live by 1.6m people and has been viewed a further 20m times since. Add in the 8,000 $90 ticket sales on the night and it has proven to be quite the earner. It was a fight Ksi won comfortably, and it was in the aftermath of the bout that he called on the Paul brothers to step up.

Along with Logan and Ksi fighting, younger brother Jake Paul will take on ComedyShortGamer (also known as Deji).
